About the Role

The Night Duty Manager plays a vital role in the smooth and secure operation of the hotel overnight. You'll oversee the hotel's security, manage team productivity and efficiency, and ensure all operations run in line with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards. With a strong attention to detail, you will handle guest interaction, collaborate with various departments, and maintain the highest standards of service. This pivotal role provides an excellent foundation for those aspiring to become front office managers.

Some of the responsibilities include:

Handles any guest complaints or contentious issues that cannot be settled directly by team members and provides a fast solution.Integrates and trains employees, providing support for skills development.Conduct regular interior and exterior security walks to ensure safety and security of the grounds and hotel operationsManage the overnight operations, maintaining high standards and ensuring all tasks and duties are completed efficiently and effectively.Supervise colleagues, ensuring they maintain a high level of accountability, efficiency, and adherence to standards.Ensure all operations and cash handling are done per policies and procedures.Ensure completion of any Front Office related projects and tasks as delegated.Complete the night audit with precision and in a timely manner, ensuring all reports are accurate and completed.Audit Food Beverage cashiers work, identifying and correcting discrepancies.

Recent experience as Assistant Manager (Nights) or Team leader (Nights) in a hotel, highly regarded.Strong sense of accountability, with the ability to lead by exampleExcellent leadership and associate relation skills with ability to train, coach and counsel.Availability to work from 11pm - 7am, including weekends and holidays.Knowledge of Opera is desirable.Well-developed communication skills
