Night Drilling Supervisor
Location: Offshore/Onshore Norway
Experience: 6-9 years
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (180-240 ECTS)
Rotation: 2 weeks offshore, 2 weeks rest, 2 weeks in the office
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise drilling and completion operations in line with company procedures, best practices, and local regulations (NORSOK & OLF).
Ensure all operations prioritize health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
Monitor and supervise rig and service personnel, ensuring critical operations are executed efficiently.
Chair daily rig meetings and provide technical instructions to senior rig and service personnel.
Report to the Drilling Superintendent on progress, incidents, and deviations, while ensuring corrective actions are taken.
Manage daily operational reports, time planning, and accident/incident documentation.
Ensure all required personnel, services, and materials are available on-site to prevent operational delays.
Drive continuous improvement by initiating Lessons Learned and mentoring Well Site Drilling Engineers.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 6-9 years in drilling and completion operations with a strong track record in wellsite supervision.
Leadership: Ability to manage teams, ensure compliance, and make key decisions in high-pressure environments.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of drilling procedures, rig operations, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
Communication & Coordination: Strong ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders, from rig crews to company leadership.
Problem-Solving: Quick thinking, analytical mindset, and ability to handle deviations efficiently.
