Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Newsletter Writer to join our team and help drive engagement with our audience through compelling, informative, and visually appealing newsletters. The ideal candidate will have a strong writing background, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to transform complex topics into easy-to-read, engaging content. This role involves writing content for daily newsletters, ensuring they align with our brand voice, marketing objectives, and audience interests.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Content Creation: Write clear, engaging, and original content for newsletters, including recaps on news articles, recaps on events and unique insights on current events
+ Audience Research: Understand the target audience and create content that is relevant, interesting, and tailored to their preferences and needs.
+ Content Planning: Assist in developing the content calendar, proposing newsletter themes, topics, and features that will drive engagement and interest.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with newsletter editor to deliver against priorities for newsletters
Qualifications:
+ Experience: 5+ years of experience as a business writer or journalist, preferably with a focus on email marketing or newsletters
+ Education: Bachelors degree in business or journalism
+ Writing Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
+ Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey messages and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
+ Creativity: Ability to craft compelling and engaging stories, while adhering to the company’s brand voice.
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Pay Range: $95,000 - $110,000
