The News Producer produces our daily newscast. He or she decides the order in which stories will be told, writes teases and other content, times news programs, edits video, and posts video to the website.

 Requirements & Skills:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experienceFluency in English grammarComplete understanding of current events and news.Complete understanding and compliance with journalism ethicsAbility to work under deadline pressureExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenProficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipmentAbility to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyFlexibility to work any shiftSalary: $18.25 to $19.25 per hour
