Newline Ops and Network Specialist

GENERAL FUNCTION: This person is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the clients within the Newline Group. This person will be providing proactive and consultative support to maintain exceptional customer relations and expand the overall relationship in conjunction with the client’s account manager. As the operational expert for the client, this person will be a key partner in managing issue resolution. This person will be responsible for conducting certain risk management and operational responsibilities. The role is responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Managing ACH and Wire requests from Newline Clients. Serves as point of contact for client to submit the request. Once received, submit to ACH or wire department, may need approval from RM.• Work with reconciliation group if there are research items or issues identified • Manage submissions of Fee Schedules and Cardholder Agreements to CFPB • Gather required monthly document from clients, such as complaint logs and SLA reporting • Work with Bank IT and Client if there are file transmission or validation issues • Manage compromised card list with program manager from the Networks • Manage Death Notices of Cardholders (DNE’s) to client • Works with program manager to review and submit Access Management requests to client’s portal by Bank employees, i.e. FCRM or others that need access. • Work with client account management on collecting proper documentation on for periodic review purposes • Work with management on proper storage of the department and client’s documents and procedures • Manage submissions and requests to the Network (Mastercard and Visa) for new and existing clients • Work effectively with cross-functional teams of internal and external business partners on complex issues related to ongoing servicing.• Development and maintain relations with key customers and internal/external business partners.• Take ownership and deliver timely resolution of issues, including working with business partners such as IT, Operations, Business Controls, Compliance Financial Crimes, Accounting and Vendors.• Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of relevant network rules and regulations. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Business, Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Banking or Operations Management or Payments Technology• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple requests and issues • Broad understanding of the Treasury Management and Payments industry • Highly skilled in Windows based software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)• Excellent written and oral communication skills All the above duties and responsibilities are essential job functions for which reasonable accommodation will be made.
