New Product and Process Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
New Product Development:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Commercial and Supply Chain to conceptualize, formulate, and prototype new products. Translate consumer insights and market trends into innovative product concepts with strong market potential. Process Scale-Up and Commercialization:
Oversee the scale-up of new products and processes from benchtop to commercial production. Work closely with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure seamless transition and successful commercialization of new products. Continuously improvement of processes and techniques. Technology Evaluation and Innovation:
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, ingredients, and processing techniques relevant to alternative food sources. Evaluate and integrate new technologies and innovations to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and sustainability.Requirements: Postgraduate degree in Process Engineering / Food Technology or comparable Minimum 5 years of experience in new product/process development (FMCG experience preferred) Proven track record of leading successful R&D projects from concept to commercialization. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation, sustainability, and delivering superior products. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines. Advanced Microsoft Excel & Syspro experience preferred
