Our client a leading South Africa brand is searching for a New Business Development Officer The successful will be responsible to sell sponsorship packages to corporates The ideal candidate would be one with a proven sales track record superior interpersonal & communication skills and
strong negotiation skills

Key Performance Areas
Developing new business relationships generating and negotiating new income for the organization
Presenting organization to the potential clients through communication in person meetings calls or by emails
Managing the sales process lead generation credential pitch questions solution pitch and negotiation
Motivating possessing driving and acute care to minute details to ensure that all sales related opportunities to the organization are captivated and explored
Maintaining and managing all sales related activities
Be responsible for all clients contracts proposals and further documentation following organizations procedure
Interacting effectively with other departments including finance and legal
Understanding client concerned risk management objectives including their return on invested capital objective
Have a clear understanding of the CSI/Sponsorship industry and how clients can use the companys programmes to achieve their objectives

Requirements
Minimum Grade 12
A tertiary sales / marketing qualification would be advantageous
Existing relationships with big business would be advantageous
Experience in sales marketing and sponsorships
Proven sales track record
Superior interpersonal skills to the effect that productive and trusting relationships are built and maintained with clients and suppliers
Superior negotiation skills
Proficiency in project management and managing contracts are required
Any experience is developing creating and managing of events
Own car
Corporate Network

Skills and Knowledge
Good communication skill in verbal written telephone email and presentations
Ability to analyse new business opportunities research and detect problems
Strong management skills and should be able to keep promises
Excellent organizational and time management skill
Confident negotiator and able to close the deal independently
Must have positive attitude to deal with people
Must be strong willed can handle conflict and sustain professional relationships
Does not stop until the job is done
