Position Highlights: The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality clinical care to adult and pediatric patients, utilizing the most advanced surgical tools and techniques, including intra-operative, frameless image-guided systems, and minimally invasive cranial surgery equipment. The position focuses on cranial neurosurgery, encompassing a wide range of procedures including skull base surgeries, brain tumor resections, and complex cranial trauma interventions. Daytime coverage is shared among a busy clinical and academic program with a high volume of cranial neurosurgical cases. Surgical services are provided at Banner University Medical Center Tucson, with outpatient clinical services located just minutes away. A strong commitment to teaching is essential, as our thriving neurosurgery training program offers ample opportunities for mentorship and academic growth. Depending on the candidates background, training, and interests, protected research time may also be available.
