The Commercial Sales Account Executive is responsible for positioning and selling Networking solutions. Through ambitious prospecting, finding opportunities, and collaborating with Cisco account teams and partners, drive deals through close and exceeding quarterly quotas. Your success will depend on your ability to sell, expand, renew business and the relationships you develop with regional channel partners and Cisco account teams.
Your Impact
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and growing Cisco’s presence within the commercial sector. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of networking solutions, with a proven track record in showcasing Cisco’s comprehensive portfolio of networking solutions, including SD-WAN, Meraki, ISE, and Spaces. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess outstanding relationship-building skills and a strategic attitude in managing accounts effectively.
Role Responsibilites
* Market Knowledge: Proficiency in market analysis, including customer, competitor, and supplier insights, and a comprehensive understanding of the industry environment.
* Business Reviews: Conduct regular business reviews applying internal analytics and market intelligence to gain customer insights and identify trends that can drive business growth. Communicate strategic solutions to customers effectively.
* Customer Relationship Management: Extensive experience in prospecting, identifying, qualifying, and targeting customers to develop and maintain strong market account profiles.
* Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to build and foster long-term relationships with C-level executives. Demonstrates curiosity, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn and participate with others. Works effectively in a highly collaborative environment with Networking BU, Cisco Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Channel Partners to drive revenue and contribute to significant year-over-year growth.
* Pipeline Management: Develop a consistent pipeline of short, medium, and long-term business opportunities every week.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, focusing on networking solutions and the commercial sector.
* Proficiency in English is required
Preferred Qualifications:
* Consistent track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
* Strong understanding of Cisco's networking portfolio and the ability to articulate the value proposition to customers.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
