Description:

KBR is looking for a Network Engineer with experience in system administration and a strong foundation in cybersecurity. The candidate must be highly motivated, adept at identifying problem areas and providing and implementing solutions and corrective actions. Experience with the conduct of security assessments is desired. The selected candidate will be expected to function in a number of different roles, including that of network/systems engineer and administrator, systems and network vulnerability assessor, and potentially in the engineering and development of one-off systems/networks for capability demonstration purposes.

Requirements:

Experience with devices and operating systems from major network vendors including Cisco, Palo Alto, and Dell.Experience with implementation and configuration of various DoD networks, including NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, SGN/SRC, AF7 VTC and accompanying voice communication systems.Experience with implementation and configuration of non-network information technology devices, such as Windows and Linux-based workstations and servers.Extensive experience working in classified DoD environments.Understanding of DoD and Intelligence community cybersecurity requirements.

Desired:

DISA STIG Implementation and testing.Experience in the conduct of vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.Vendor networking certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP).Generalist cybersecurity certification (e.g. Security +, CISSP).Experience supporting the United States Space Force and/or other military branches.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in technical field such as computer science and/or information security.

Clearance:  Top Secret with SCI eligibility, ability to obtain SAP Access.

Work Environment:

Location: Colorado Springs, COTravel Requirements: Limited Travel (up to 10%)Working Hours: Standard 40 hours per week.

Basic Compensation:

$140- 160k

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
