Your responsibilities

Manages a team of IT professionals in EMEAInterprets and administers policies, processes and procedures that affect direct reports and the workflow of the team. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Contributes to budget development and performance standards of department and direct reportsCollaborates with teams, customers, functional peer group managers and occasionally senior management. Participates and presents at meetings with internal and external representativesOversees the technical expertise in the management of company networks; tests and analyzes network facilities, including network control software, routers, switches, lines, modems, and adaptersManages and coordinates the installations, supports, and/or maintains LANs and/or WANs; evaluates and recommends networking product and software upgradesOversees the technical analyses of software, hardware and transmission facilities using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operationsMonitors data traffic and controls network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmissionIdentifies, diagnoses, and resolves technical problems related to network failure/integrityCoordinates technical data/voice support to users and performs data/voice troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network problemsManages network needs and recommends/support changes in design and/or proceduresContributes to the design of data/voice network architectures and integrationsEvaluates data/voice hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes appropriate recommendations based on findingsCoordinates with stakeholders on installs, configures, tests, and troubleshoots network hardware and softwareManages and establishes secure environments for networks being installedManages the gathering of statistics on performance capacity and availabilityManages the team which monitors, evaluates, and reports on the ongoing performance and capacity of assigned area(s) of the computing environments (software and hardware specifications) in order to ensure business requirements are metManages the periodic maintenance of network devices to meet industry standardsResponsible for audit compliance of network systemsSupport of Corporate Real Estate activityManagement of client/customer requests

Who we are looking for

6+ years of Networking experience2+ years’ experience managing or leading a teamBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceKnowledge of cloud networking solutions Azure, AWS, or GCP preferredStrong leadership, team management, and mentoring skillsCertification in network and/or cloud technologies is a plusProficient project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiativesAbility to handle fast-paced environments, multitask, and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsVery good knowledge of English, good knowledge of German
