Network Manager – Leadership & Technical Strategy Job Description : SR Network Manager + Leadership & Strategy: + Lead and manage a team of network engineers to ensure seamless 24x7 operations. + Drive the restructuring and modernization of network infrastructure—this is not a “walk-into-a-set-up-environment” role. + Align network strategies with business objectives and best practices. + Network Implementation & Oversight: + Oversee the deployment and optimization of network infrastructure, ensuring reliability and scalability. + Work with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies while maintaining system integrity. + Technical Adaptability & Problem-Solving: + Come up to speed, Be information seeking to quickly transition into the existing Extreme Networks environment + Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime. + Security & Compliance: + Implement security best practices to safeguard network infrastructure. + Ensure compliance with industry standards and evolving security requirements. + Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: + Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality solutions. + Collaborate with internal IT teams to align network strategies with overall business goals. Qualifications & Experience + Proven experience leading and managing a network engineering team. + Strong technical background in Cisco or Juniper network environments. + Ability to transition into Extreme Networks + Direct experience managing a 24x7 network operations environment. + Experience with network restructuring and modernization initiatives. + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in high-availability environments. + Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. + Willing and able to regularly be onsite at work locations in Sayre, PA and Binghampton, NY Our success as a company is built on practicing inclusion and embracing diversity.
