Job Description Network Engineer, will be responsible for building, operating, and maintaining network devices installed in Virginia DC, supporting activities related with the project, that include configure routing protocols, provide network information, configuring ports, vlan extension etc. Supporting migration from Aurora, CO to Ashburn, VA & Richardson, TX data centers. Compensation: $20-30/HR Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Skills and Requirements - 5+ years of Network Engineering experience - Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work well with others team members. - The ability to clearly and effectively communicate through verbal and written means. - Delegate tasks and set deadlines for your internal team. - Create complete end-to-end plans including designs and/or upgrades for enterprise-wide LANs/WANs. - Coordinate any modifications to the network environment with other IT departments and change management. - Experience developing Concepts of Operation, Requirements, Basis of Design, and critical design documents and drawings. - Ability to perform fault isolation and resolution in a methodical, thorough manner. - Assist with life-cycle management evaluations and recommendations. - Experience designing and operating networks using routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, route leaking, route redistribution, route-maps etc. - Wan technologies, mpls, DMVPN, vrf etc. - Experience installing, configuring and maintaining cisco switches Catalyst 9000 Series and Nexus, stackwise, protocols like STP, RSTP, MSTP, PVST, - R-PVST, PVST.
