Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Network resource to join our 24x7 first level support network team focused on both network outages as well as network-related projects. The candidate will be accountable for day-to-day network activities, such as those related to incident and change management, to ensure end user requests are handled and addressed within defined SLAs. The position requires good organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to troubleshoot and logically solve problems.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including Wifi, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers. A deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is highly desiredProvide 24x7 L3/L2 network operational support of existing network, capacity planning, conduct infrastructure audits, configure security policies/VPNsProvide troubleshooting support to maintain all network systems and monitor them proactively to ensure that production downtime is minimized and SLAs are achievedConduct InfoSec activities and ID management of Voice devices on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to ensure that all devices are complaint with zero deviations per the InfoSec calendarExecute day-to-day network activities as part of Incident management and Change management processes to ensure end users requests are handled and addressed within the defined SLA’sProactively evaluate new and emerging technologies and suggest ways to add value to the existing infrastructureAuthor and deliver network related documentationEnsure an effective communication process is in place with all the stakeholders including vendors, server, voice and desktop support teams
