We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, particularly with Fortigate firewalls and Cisco switches. The candidate should possess a deep understanding of networking principles and protocols, as well as hands-on experience with network security technologies.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including Fortigate firewalls and Cisco switches.Configure and optimize network devices to ensure maximum performance and reliability.Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.Collaborate with other team members to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed. QualificationsRequirements:
3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.Strong experience with Fortigate firewalls and Cisco switches.Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP).Experience with network security concepts and technologies (e.g., VPN, IDS/IPS, firewall policies).Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Fortinet NSE are a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person’s relevant experience and/or education level.
