Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer- Cloud/Automation with 10 to 14 years of experience in Wireless Networking, VPN Networking, and Cloud Networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Cisco Meraki, AWS, and GCP Networking as well as expertise in Terraform and Ansible. This role involves working in a hybrid model with rotational shifts focusing on commercial lending domain
Responsibilities
Lead the design implementation and maintenance of wireless and VPN networks to ensure optimal performance and security. Oversee the configuration and management of network switching protocols to maintain seamless connectivity. Provide expert support for Cisco Meraki wired and wireless solutions to enhance network infrastructure. Implement and manage cloud networking solutions on AWS and GCP to support scalable and reliable services. Utilize Terraform and Ansible for network automation and infrastructure as code practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network solutions align with business objectives and compliance requirements. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure high availability. Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation and standard operating procedures. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions. Ensure adherence to security best practices and regulatory requirements in all network operations. Participate in rotational shifts to provide 24/7 network support and incident management.Qualifications
Must have extensive experience in Wireless Networking VPN Networking and Cloud Networks. Should possess strong technical skills in Cisco Meraki AWS and GCP Networking. Must be proficient in using Terraform and Ansible for network automation. Should have domain expertise in Commercial Lending. Must have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Should have strong communication and collaboration abilities. Nice to have experience in security best practices.Certifications Required
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty Google Cloud Professional Network Engineer
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 02/23/2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $79,240 - $154,500depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
