**ManTech** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Network Engineer** to join our team in Herndon, Virginia. Our team plays a critical role in protecting the most coveted target in the world by focus providing a proactive approach to maintaining and optimizing endpoint validation. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Deliver Subject Matter Expert (SME) Level design, implementation, and management of NAC solutions utilizing CISCO network devices including load balancers, LINUX servers, and CISCO appliances + Provide expertise in CISCO network appliances and associated management software, with a specialized focus on Network Access Control (NAC) + Perform configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of NAC policies and profiles + Monitor network traffic for potential security threats and proactively address vulnerabilities + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security standards align with business objectives + Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external teams and clients on NAC and network security related issues + Participate in the evaluation and selection of new NAC technologies and vendors **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or similar technical field + 16+ years’ experience with Network Engineering and Information Technology + Experience as a CISCO Network Engineer with a focus on Network Security, CISCO network appliances and associated management software + Experience with network security principles and maintaining and optimizing endpoint validation + Experience with translating customer requirements into enterprise network solutions + Experience with NAC platforms, network protocols, TCP/IP stack, and OSI model + Experience with firewall management software such as Cisco FTD Excellent communication and interpersonal skills **Preferred Qualifications:** + Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineer field or similar technical field + CCNA Security, CCNP Security, REDHAT Certified Architect (RHCA), or similar industry certifications are preferred + Experience with NAC management software such as Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE), Network Access Controls (NAC), NAC platforms, and CISCO profiling ISE with Linux Operating Systems (OS) and Python scripting + Experience with a wide variety of network technologies and solutions architectures is a plus Broad understanding of technical principles, theories and concepts in the networking field Knowledge of state-of-the-art systems engineering principles and network design concepts Cloud Service Provider and hybrid cloud experience (extending on premise networks to cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, Oracle and Google) **Clearance Requirements:** + Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph **Physical Requirements:** + The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time ManTech International Corporation, as well as its subsidiaries proactively fulfills its role as an equal opportunity employer.
