Kforce has a client in Short Hills, NJ that is seeking a Network Engineer. Responsibilities: * Architect and implement secure network designs leveraging Prisma security features within a hybrid cloud environment (on-premise and cloud) * The Network Engineer will configure and manage network devices like routers, switches, firewalls (particularly Palo Alto Networks firewalls) with Prisma integration * Implement network segmentation and access controls to isolate sensitive data and systems * Develop and enforce security policies within Prisma to detect and prevent advanced threats across the network perimeter * Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity using Prisma's threat intelligence and analytics capabilities * Implement security measures like intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and application control using Prisma features * Investigate and respond to security incidents identified by Prisma, coordinating with the security team to contain and remediate threats * Analyze network traffic patterns and identify potential security vulnerabilities using Prisma tools * Monitor network performance and identify bottlenecks to optimize network efficiency * Analyze network traffic patterns and implement adjustments to optimize network bandwidth and latency * The Network Engineer will integrate Prisma security solutions with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP to ensure consistent security across environments * Manage network connectivity and security policies for cloud-based applications and services
