**Introduction** . **Your role and responsibilities** As a Network Engineer in the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Research Department, you will be responsible for contributing to the network infrastructure, development and operations for AI systems. You need a deep understanding of data center network concepts including routing, forwarding, segmentation, and QoS as well as experience in benchmarking and tuning. Experience with hybrid cloud platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift is desirable. You will be interacting with multiple Research and product teams. **Required technical and professional expertise** 2 years experience in Linux networking 2 years experience in Cloud/Data Center networking, routing and forwarding, QoS 2 years experience in Software defined networking (SDN), Network virtualization, segmentation 2 years experience in Python, scripting 2 years experience in network benchmarking and tuning 2 years experience in Linux development environment and operating system concepts **Preferred technical and professional experience** 1 year experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift networking 1 year experience with performance analysis and optimization 1 year experience with C, C++, Java, Ansible
