Network Engineer
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer in the Aerospace industry, based in Hollywood, Florida. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, maintaining, and enhancing network infrastructure. This role involves working with a diverse set of technologies and platforms to ensure optimal network performance and security within our organization. Responsibilities: • Configuration and management of LAN/WAN environments, including VLANs, VPNs, and subnetting. • Deployment, upkeep, and troubleshooting of network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. • Implementation and management of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and SD-WAN solutions. • Maintenance of fiber switches and optimization of network performance through proactive upgrades. • Configuration and maintenance of firewalls for security and compliance. • Execution of network security audits and vulnerability assessments. • Management of Cisco Meraki wireless access points and assurance of secure, efficient wireless connectivity. • Collaboration with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and provision of technical support within SLA guidelines. • Documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. • Provision of technical support for Unified Cisco Call Manager (UCCM, UCaaS) and troubleshooting of circuits and ISP related issues. Requirements • Applicant must hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Proven experience in the Aerospace industry is required • Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is expected • Familiarity with Checkpoint is essential • Mastery of Cisco ASA is required • Must be skilled in using Cisco Routers • Demonstrated expertise in Cisco Technologies is necessary • Experience in AB Testing is desirable • Knowledge of Backup Technologies is essential • Proficiency in Computer Hardware is expected • Must be adept at Configuration Management • Experience with Datacenter is required • Cisco CCNP certification is a must • Must have experience with Meraki Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
