This internship will offer hands-on experience in network management, monitoring, and troubleshooting within a dynamic 24x7 network control environment. Internship Responsibilities: + Monitor and analyze network problems using network management and monitoring tools. + Respond to network alarms to minimize disruptions and impact on end users. + Assist in root cause analysis and contribute to developing action plans for service restoration. + Collaborate with L3Harris teams and external telecommunication partners to optimize operational processes and restoration times. + Participate in coordination with User Community, Field Services Group, and telecommunication partners for Break/Fix actions and Change Management activities. + Document Trouble Tickets and Change Requests related to network activities. Educational Requirements: + Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with a focus on Networking, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Desired Skills and Experience: + Basic understanding of L1 through L4 of the OSI Model. + Familiarity with LAN/WAN/MAN technologies. + Knowledge of Incident, Change, and Problem Management practices is beneficial. + Interest in LTE and VPN technologies. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. + Eagerness to apply IP networking knowledge to real world experiences. + A commitment to maintaining high service levels in a customer support environment. + Certifications such as CCENT, CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA, or ITIL v3/4 are advantageous but not required.
