The position of Network Administrator is responsible for the management, maintenance, monitoring, and documentation of the company’s network infrastructure as well as providing end-user support for network and telco/phone system related issues.

 

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:

Configure, deploy, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, phones, and other network devices Assess, diagnose, and resolve WAN, WLAN, LAN, VPN, VoIP issues Monitor, streamline, and maximize network performance Create/Update and maintain network infrastructure and procedural documentation Monitor and respond to network tickets Participate in the planning/design of network infrastructure projects Travel to remote sites as needed (20% - 40%)

 

Requirements and Qualifications: 

3+ years of IT or technical support experience. Some experience can be substituted for associate’s or bachelor’s degree in related field. Valid driver’s license. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Demonstrates the capability to solve unique and complex problems by applying critical thinking. Ability to adapt to change quickly and easily, showing willingness to learn new technologies and skills. Technical knowledge that would be valuable in our environment: Administration of common network services (DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, etc.) Cisco Routing/Switching infrastructure Aruba Networking Infrastructure Shortel/Mitel Active Directory Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2012R2/2016/2019
