Responsibilities RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO QUALIFY Work Location: Kinston, NC Key Accountabilities: + Lead and direct NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) organizations and provides cross-functional NDT integration leadership. + Manager of NDT personnel in multiple buildings, across multiple shifts. + Lead and direct NDT technicians (Spirit direct, contractors or purchased services). + Establishes, overseas, and administers processes, policies, and best practices, and determines resource requirements, acquisition, improvement plans and quality measures. + Interfaces with other organizations, customers, and regulatory agencies to define, evaluate and communicate accomplishment of project and program priorities through all phases in the product or service lifecycle. + Provides organizational vision and strategic plan, processes, and procedures, as well as process improvements and prevention measures. Qualifications Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: + 3+ years Management / Leadership experience. + NDT experience in Aerospace or a Manufacturing environment. + Knowledgeable with NDT practices (Ultrasonic, Phased Array, Pulse Echo). + Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively work multiple simultaneous assignments in a fast-paced environment. + Strong verbal and written skills with attention to detail. + Must be able to work any shift, including weekends and holidays when needed. Preferred Qualifications: + Excellent interpersonal skills working cross functionally across teams. + Analytical, demonstrates ability to deconstruct requirements and prioritize accordingly. + Exceptional time management skills. + A focus on continuous improvement, Root Cause Corrective Action process knowledge. + MS Office Suite skills. + Working knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP or other customer requirements.
