Kimley-Horn's West Palm Beach, Florida (FL) office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Energy team! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities Perform sengineering and project management tasks for natural gas projects. Projects will include pipeline design, natural gas metering and regulation stations, pipeline integrity management, and control design and integrationIn addition to strong technical experience, other responsibilities will include research, coordination, project management, staff management, cost estimating, permitting and preparation of bid packages as well as technical specifications and client managementAssist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedulesYou will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationshipsYou will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors Qualifications 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience related to energy, natural gas, or solar.Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)Experience with task Management, concept design, and assisting Project Management tasksFamiliar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standardsWorking knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Exel, and/or GIS

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of CFR 49 Part 190-195Knowledge of natural gas systems, solar industry and processes Why Kimley-Horn?
