Develop and manage the national distribution of an exclusive brand in small appliances through both chain and online retailers in line with market targets and defined distribution strategies Experience in promoting a premium international brand and managing sellout of small electrical appliances via retail trade partners is essential
Key Performance Areas
Develop formulate coordinate and implement sales activities and trade marketing actions through and in conjunction with retail trade partners including
POSM
Demo programmes
Cooperative advertising
Sales Incentives
End Consumer Promotions
Trade Training
Propose and implement Key Account commercial cooperation agreements
Propose yearly sales and other objectives
Develop distribution and key accounts strategy
Obtain targeted listings within each defined key account and channel
Ensure full availability of the defined product range via accurate forecasting
Define launch activities with key accounts trade marketing
Build effective communication with retail trade partners to ensure the consistent application of the strategy and constant availability of the products
Understand analyse and know the market its developments and foresee future trends
Understand consumer and trade insights via implementation and mastery of all available market analytical tools
Lead manage and motivate the team to exceed business goals and targets in line with best practice guidelines and local regulations
Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Sales/ Business
Minimum 5 years experience in Sales and KAM/Trade Management in Electrical Consumer goods is Non Negotiable
Experience in channel distribution management
Experience in developing and implementing strategy
Planogram experience
Skills
Ability to manage negotiations at a senior level and influence decision making process
Previous application of goal setting target achievement and/or review
Management of Profit and Loss accounts
Project Management experience including the delivery and target achievement of large scale activities evidence of control monitoring and review
Experience of working with people at different levels of seniority
Excellent planning and administration skills
Strong leadership skills
Excellent analytical skills
