About the Role
Combined Insurance, a Chubb company, is looking for a bilingual (English and French) National Sales Director to join our Distribution Diversification team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in expanding our market share, scaling Living Benefits products, and driving growth within the Canadian MGA (Managing General Agent) network.
In this role, you will develop national and regional accounts, lead sales initiatives, support product development, and advance Combined's broader distribution diversification strategy. We want to hear from you if you thrive on collaboration, innovation, and creating measurable business impact.
What You'll Do Strategic Account Management and Growth Develop and execute account strategies to expand Combined's Living Benefits offerings within the MGA network. Build and maintain strong relationships with national and regional MGAs, driving revenue growth and increasing market presence. Identify opportunities to expand within existing accounts and establish new partnerships to accelerate growth. Sales Leadership and Revenue Generation Lead sales efforts to exceed annual targets, using data-driven strategies and a relationship-focused approach to drive results. Monitor sales trends, account performance, and market dynamics to adjust strategies and capitalize on opportunities. Support the sales team in engaging high-potential accounts and executing high-value activities. Product Development and Deployment Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and IT teams to develop and launch new products tailored to market needs. Provide market insights to enhance product offerings and advisor support tools. Lead product education initiatives for MGAs and advisors, ensuring they are equipped to promote Combined's offerings effectively. Support for Distribution Diversification Initiatives Play a key role in advancing distribution diversification efforts, including digital, direct-to-customer, and telesales channels. Support the integration of new channels with the MGA distribution model to optimize resources and expand market reach. Partnership Development within the Canadian Market Proactively seek and cultivate relationships with new partners to enhance Combined's presence in Canada. Present partnership opportunities to leadership and drive initiatives that align with strategic goals. Performance Management and Reporting Track and analyze performance metrics across accounts and distribution channels to align with business goals. Prepare and present performance reports, forecasts, and updates to senior leadership. Develop and execute strategic business plans for accounts and distribution channels with measurable KPIs. What You Bring Experience 5 - 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the insurance or financial services industry. Expertise in accident, disability, other living benefits, or life insurance products is highly desirable. Proven success working within the Canadian MGA market or similar distribution networks is essential. Skills Fluency in both English and French (bilingual) is required to communicate effectively in all Canadian markets. Proven ability to scale business operations, increase market share, and drive revenue in competitive markets. Strong relationship-building skills with experience managing national and regional accounts within the MGA network. Familiarity with digital, direct-to-customer, and telesales distribution channels is an asset. Strategic thinker with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Proficiency with reporting and sales tracking tools.
