You as a National Distributor Manager are responsible to identifies, develops, manages and retains revenue-generating opportunities for the organization through the strategic and tactical sales and support of all product and service lines. Directly, or indirectly, manages the process from lead validation to product and services delivery, working with marketing, customer service, operations and delivery providers to ensure the highest level of supply chain management is delivered to customers.

This position is part of the Sales team located in Mumbai/ Delhi and will be a hybrid role.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
. Strategic Thinking and Vision
- Ability to design and execute a comprehensive channel GTM strategy tailored to the Indian market.
- Understanding of market dynamics, regional diversity, and competitive landscape in India.
- Capability to align the channel strategy with the company’s broader business objectives.
Channel Management Expertise
- Proven experience in building and managing distribution networks, preferably in India or similar emerging markets.
- Skills in identifying, onboarding, and nurturing channel partners (distributors, resellers, service providers).
- Track record of establishing scalable and sustainable partner ecosystems for both sales and service.
. Commercial Acumen and Rigor
- Strong financial and business acumen to negotiate contracts, set pricing models, and ensure profitability.
- Ability to establish performance metrics (KPIs) and hold partners accountable for results.
- Experience in driving revenue growth through channel sales while maintaining cost efficiency.

- Expertise in creating governance frameworks, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for channel operations.
- Ability to ensure compliance with local regulations, company standards, and ethical practices.

Collaboration with Marketing team to create effective campaigns and promotions for specific distributors
Identify what drives the distributors and what the Company can offer as distributor value proposition to ensure a competitive edge and a higher market share to the Company
Ensure timely and complete onboarding of any new distributor appointed in a market.
Ensure the distributor maintains the infrastructure required to serve the customer including the quality manpower as per the agreement
The essential requirements of the job
Bachelor’s in engineering or master's in business administration or a related filed
10 to 12 years of experience in Distribution business in India & South Asia market
Engineering or non-engineering with strong sales background.
Has worked Indian or a multi-national company selling Industrial products through channels. ( Capital Goods )
