Purpose of the Role

BGIS is seeking an experienced National Account Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our business growth strategy. You will focus on enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction with our key client. As a leader, you'll oversee the delivery of contractual obligations, ensure KPIs are met, and build long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will be committed to long-term success, delivering results, and managing teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Manage contract obligations, ensuring KPIs are met while building strong, long-term relationships with the client. Oversee financial objectives, including forecasting, budgeting, invoicing, and approvals, to ensure compliance and client satisfaction. Lead the BGIS contract team with clear communication, monitoring account performance, and reporting on key metrics. Develop and nurture key client relationships, identifying new opportunities for growth within existing accounts. Manage and champion an interstate team of at least 6 members, promoting collaboration and high performance. Ensure all services are delivered in line with contract requirements and BGIS systems. Maintain full compliance with contracts, BGIS business systems, and OHS&E policies, ensuring all stakeholders meet requirements. Foster a positive team environment by promoting BGIS values, encouraging collaboration, and holding team members accountable for results.

Education, Experience, and Skills

Essential:

Experience delivering Property, Facilities, Project, and Financial Management services in a corporate real estate environment, including managing teams and subcontractors. Strong business knowledge with experience in planning, financial management, contract negotiation, and client/contractor relationship management. Interstate travel at least once a month, including occasional overnight stays. Process-driven, with the ability to problem-solve, build lasting relationships, and navigate challenges effectively. Senior-level Facilities Management (FM) experience including 1-Year as an Account Manager

Desirable:

Senior-level experience in a complex industry, with a focus on QA, OH&S, and environmental systems. Advanced knowledge of business planning, financial management, and current OH&S, QA, and environmental regulations. Industry-recognised certifications or training in Building/Facilities Management or related fields.
