Copeland Cold Chain seeks a **National Account Executive** to join our Food Safety team. The National Account Executive will sell temperature monitoring equipment to national restaurant chains, convenience stores, food producers, and food processors. The position will represent the Cooper Atkins product line, but may also include data loggers, trackers, and other Copeland products. This position is responsible for the strategic management of global QSR chains.
**AS A NATIONAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, YOU WILL:**
+ Achieve Annual Sales Dollar Goal. Grow, custody, and leverage relationships at National Chain Accounts by:
+ Successfully performing executive level sales calls, representing Copeland at trade shows and industry events
+ aligning Copeland solutions to account needs and pains, communicating bid requests to distribution
+ working with manufacturer’s representatives, identifying new business opportunities, and advocating for Copeland’s best interests
+ Display business acumen to evaluate market conditions, competitive intelligence, industry knowledge, product gaps, and effectively communicate this information internally
+ Assists management where appropriate. Manage Pipeline activities and sales process to achieve consistent results
+ Appropriately track opportunities in Salesforce and interface with other internal Copeland partners including product management, engineering, legal, international sales, and operations
+ Apply knowledge of industry vertical to Copeland initiatives. Transfers knowledge into the organization to inform, educate, train, and develop others. Negotiate pricing agreements with National Chain Accounts
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
+ 5-10 years sales experience, in roles showing increases in responsibility Demonstrated ability to manage strategic accounts, negotiations, and lead through influence
+ Position requires up to 50% travel
+ Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:**
+ Master Degree or MBA
+ Experience in the Foodservice/Food Safety industry
+ Qualified backgrounds may include industrial, logistics, hardware/controls, and equipment manufacturing
+ Working with large operator accounts and national chains, as well as knowledge of foodservice distribution preferred.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The base salary for this role is $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 annually **,** with an additional center point bonus incentive, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
