My Pay Lead Poland & Baltics
**Job Description** **Position Overview** The role is part of the MEU Payroll Team and is accountable for leading the Poland & Baltics Payroll teams who are responsible for the accuracy of pay for all employees in accordance with company regulations. The role also needs to ensure the payroll and all activities related to payroll within the company are done to agreed timelines. In this role, you will oversee compliance monitoring, quality assurance and data protection activities and ensure the effective use of enabling technology, including case management tools. In addition, you will plan for and make sure that daily activities are completed, and implement and monitor quality standards for your team, including reviewing and adjusting key performance indicators and service level agreements to drive continuous improvement. You will also monitor, analyze, and improve team performance to improve customer satisfaction. As a people leader, you will coach, motivate, train, and inspire direct reports, provide guidance and direction to your team to ensure they are providing excellent responses to queries and requests, and manage individual performance. **Main Responsibilities** + Responsible for performance management and monitoring across direct reports and payroll vendors. + Responsible for providing coaching and supporting professional development opportunities across team. + Provides day-to-day guidance and direction to the My Pay Advisors/ Payroll Specialists and ensure payroll processes are delivered to a consistently high standard. + Accountable for having deep knowledge of payroll legislation, policy and principle changes that impact payroll processes in the country. + Acts as point of escalation to effectively resolve complex payroll issues and employee complaints by exception. + Accountable for correct execution of payroll processes, policies, and standard operating. procedures including adherence to all operational and SOX controls. + Responsible for payroll compliance, quality assurance and data protection. + Maintain accurate records, produce, and communicate payroll related reports. + Safeguard compliance with the Local Employment Law (on Payroll) and internal policies. + Liaise with auditors and support payroll audits. + Develop best practices to improve efficiency of payroll processes. + Be an active and constructive member of the MEU My Pay Team **Requirements** + Experience of working in a multi-national company + Broad and deep understanding of Payroll (3-5 years) + Experience working in a global organization. + Team management experience is required. + 3rd Party Relationship management experience + Fluency in English is required + Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). + Able to multi-task and manage a fluctuating workload + Excellent problem solving and judgment skills + High operational excellence and ability to work under pressure **Leadership competencies** + Organizational and planning skills; time management and priority setting. + Customer focus. + Drive for results and problem solving.
