**Overview**
The Strategist's responsibilities include determining which formats best communicate various types of content, identifying ways to increase brand awareness across campaigns and always-on content calendars.
To build brand loyalty and drive sales through effective digital marketing and promotions of the Agency and brand.
The successful candidate must be passionate about digital strategy, with a love for writing and the English language.
**Responsibilities**
+ Translate briefs and strategic requirements into compelling digital creative solutions
+ Perform content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed
+ Delegate tasks to writers and editors and provide feedback
+ Create, adjust, and manage the editorial calendar
+ Establish style guides that specify the writing style and tone needed to create engaging content
+ Define the creative digital vision and strategy for the brand by ensuring that the creative function operates efficiently
+ Pitch ideas confidently and present creative concepts
+ Write copy for social, print, video, and digital
+ Drive projects and campaigns through the entire creative process
+ Collaborate with integrated team members on various digital projects
+ Use SEO best practices to maximize reach
+ Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
+ Understand and provide insights into cross-device behaviour and be an expert in digital media across desktop and mobile.
+ Keep abreast of trends in accordance with industry best practice with industry best practice
**Qualifications**
A tertiary qualification Digital Marketing / Digital Advertising
• Proficient in MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint etc.)
• Minimum 2-3 years working experience as a Digital Strategist / Integrated Strategist
• Experience with Google AdWords
• Proficient with social media platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
• A good command of the English language (both verbal and written)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong multitasking skills (ability to work on multiple briefs at any given time)
