Multimedia Specialist
Position Summary: The Multimedia Specialist collaborates with SME’s, specialists and training designers to produce multimedia for computer based technical training content.  This role conceptualizes and creates multimedia learning objects such as A/V, video, audio, text, simulations, still and animated graphics to integrate into technical training content for delivery mainly via computer-based applications. Activity includes the production and edit of full product. This position is responsible to turn concepts into visual experiences very specific to educating technicians. 
  Major Responsibilities: • Create multimedia objects video, audio, text, simulations, still and animated graphics.  Products will stimulate the senses for end user consumption and learning. • Creates video and or simple graphics for technical instructor-led training purposes, stand-alone videos, animation or other enhanced audio/visual for projects as assigned. • Creates HOW2 content that results in improved labor productivity and is designed for a technician’s work environment in mind. • Engages improvements in production process. Educates others to follow production process that is flexible but well documented to meet the needs of the project. • Collaborates in the storyboarding with SME’s, specialists and training design team. • Other projects and tasks as assigned.
      Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree required with a concentration in Communications-Digital Media, Digital Design, Video, or Cinema/Film• Adobe suite certifications preferred• 5 years of experience developing interactive multimedia graphics, objects, audio, and video required.  Must have a strong background of audio/visual equipment and producing video and/or simulations. Graphic production experience is a plus.• 3 years of experience in multimedia creation in training and/or technical field required• Must have intermediate level experience with video design software, such as Adobe Suite products, AfterEffects, Photoshop, and Camtasia• Advanced level of A/V equipment and cinematography experience required• Must have a strong knowledge of infrastructure, servers, and delivery• Ability to visually represent complex ideas• Ability to identify and address quality issues• Must be end user oriented• Ability to make product improvements• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required• Strong organization skills with attention to detail• Ability to find solutions and solve problems• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening are required.
