Lennar is seeking a Multimedia Producer to join Lennar News Network (LNN), our internal production team in beautiful Miami, Florida. The role is responsible for independently producing informative news stories with a social media feel. The candidate will have an opportunity to define the role, creating content around a variety of topics including important company events, new corporate initiatives, meaningful cause marketing campaigns and a variety of other events. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in live event reporting, drafting questions, conducting on/off-camera interviews, lighting, creative videography, newswriting, video editing, and utilizing social distribution platforms. Candidate should have the ability to quickly bring ideas to life through compelling storytelling and engaging visuals.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
Bring stories from concept to completion. Shoot, write, and edit complete news reports on a variety of topics that are compelling to Lennar Associates across the company.
Hold a specialized skillset that requires expertise both in-front of and behind the camera.
Serve as main on-camera talent for a variety of content including short form, sit-down interviews, and social content feeling material. Candidate will become a trusted voice of LNN.
Pre-produce packages including researching stories and writing thoughtful questions.
Gather material and completely edit photo and video updates distributed on internal and external Lennar platforms.
Research and pitch captivating stories to Lennar executive team.
Produce content fully independent of other LNN team members. Candidate will write, shoot and edit their own video content.
Serve as a lead contact person for Lennar Associates on internal communication sites.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Broadcast Journalism, Media Studies, or equivalent work experience.
4+ years of professional video production experience including regional or local on-camera reporting.
Seasoned journalist that can produce a video story from concept to completion within 48 hours or less.
Skilled at conducting interviews and interacting comfortably with C-Suite executives.
Accomplished video editor with in-depth knowledge of software such as Adobe Premiere Pro & DaVinci Resolve.
Strong verbal and written communication skills including excellent newswriting and visual storytelling ability.
Ability to professionally operate various still and video cameras.
Basic knowledge of professional audio equipment.
Experience directing live to tape productions including the skillset needed to lead newsgathering events.
Ability to light for studio and location shooting.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well within a team environment.
A creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling and staying current with industry trends.
Knowledge of utilizing pre-produced motion graphics.
Experience in a fast paced, breaking news environment.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays if needed.
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience producing content for multiple platforms from beginning to end of project.
