Key Responsibilities:
Design and create visually compelling website layouts, user interfaces (UI), and user experiences (UX) that are aligned with our brand vision. Develop and design email marketing templates that drive customer engagement and align with the overall brand strategy. Collaborate with marketing and content teams to design emailer campaigns that are optimized for user interaction and conversion. Design and optimize digital assets for multiple channels, including social media, email, and websites. Execute digital assets for merchandising teams and ensure alignment with in-store collateral and campaigns. Conceptualize and produce fresh ideas for digital content and online materials, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and enhancing the customer journey. Research and integrate design trends, UX best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our online presence. Assist with in-store collateral design and digital catalogue layouts when required. Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and optimized across devices and platforms.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong focus on digital design and UX (retail environment advantageous). A minimum of a 3-year qualification (Diploma/Degree) in Graphic Design, UX Design, or related field. Expertise in digital design processes, with a strong understanding of UX/UI best practices and principles. Proficient in using (Apple Mac) DTP systems, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and web design tools (Figma, Sketch, or similar). Experience with HTML/CSS for emailers and web design is a plus. Familiarity with email marketing platforms and tools for email design and testing. A strong portfolio showcasing your work in website design, UX design, and email campaigns.
Skills:
Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate design concepts clearly and effectively. Excellent multitasking abilities and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple briefs simultaneously. High attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work. Experience in responsive design and designing for mobile-first experiences. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with developers, marketers, and content creators. Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
