The main purpose of this position is:

To conceptualise, develop and produce videos and other audio-visual communication.

This includes:

Developing video concepts and storyboards, shooting and editing video to produce a final audio-visual product.

Producing videos that may incorporate text, photographs, graphics, illustrations, infographics, layouts, digital animation, photography, and audio.

Shooting and editing a range of high-quality videos that can be viewed on a range of devices and platforms to diverse audiences using multiple channels.

Using video editing software and AI tools, together with creative and technical skills, design and develop multimedia products that entertain, educate, persuade, or inform target audiences.

Taking photographs and videos of alumni, student and University events and conducting on camera interviews with selected subjects.

Operating video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.



Brief DescriptionRequirements:
A relevant post-matric qualification in multimedia and video production At least four years relevant work experience Experience and ability to work as part of a team You will be required to submit a portfolio of multimedia work you have produced
