Multi Skilled Operator (nights; level B3-1) - Mars Wrigley - Plymouth 40 hours night shift (Monday – Friday 10pm – 6am) Shift AllowanceAre you an experienced Operator looking for your next challenge? The Multi skilled Operator will be accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, pieces of equipment and operational decisions at line level to achieve targets. Some form of Mechanical training/experience is required for the role as you will be expected to learn multiple machines across a production area with a good level of fault find and fix ability.
What are we looking for?
Educated to GCSE level
Mechanical training or background is a must.
Experience in production based machinery is a must.
Experience in FMCG / High speed production – desirable.
What will be your key responsibilities?Full cross training across mars Plymouth wrapping department, with the ability to run all machines and cover gaps as per business requirements.
Identify and repair mechanical breakdowns on various machinery.
Accountable for the performance of machines, processes, or pieces of equipment.
Complete and assist in daily production tasks to ensure line targets are met.
Coaching and upskilling of associates across multiple machines
