We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to help provide reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment at our fully auto mated Gloucester site.

Salary: Competitive starting salary. (With room to progress internally after successful probations period with our 3 stage development programme)

Shifts: Sunday - Thursday 22:00-06:00 working 37.5 hours.

Duties and responsibilities:

Resolve breakdowns, reduce downtime, and improve plant reliability.

Support the maintenance and wider team in working together to solve problems to keep our facility moving.

Maintenance is carried out in both ambient and cold store environment to a temperature of -18, just like working in a freezer however full cold store spec PPE and equipment is provided.

At times work using safety harnesses & on ladders at height.

Who we're looking for:

Electrically qualified with mechanical experience: Candidates need to have done a maintenance apprenticeship or have a city and guilds level 3 certificate, in electrical most preferred or mechanical if not. Multi skilled in both Mechanical and Electrical is essential.

Experience of working with automation & PLCs.

Working safely at height trained.

Good interpersonal skills and enjoy being in a team.

Willingness to learn and improve your skills.

Able to drive to get to site.
