Multi-Life Disability Group Wholesaler

Guardian is seeking a Group Benefits Sales Representative who will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Group brokers to drive ongoing sales of our Multi-Life Disability (MLDI) product. Success will be determined based on the ability to attain high levels of production through broker development and internal relationships. This role will report to a Group Benefits Sales Leader.

You will:

Understand territory dynamics to build, develop, and maintain Group broker relationships to grow the MLDI book of business while representing Guardian’s vision to inspire well-being.Be accountable for consistently achieving or exceeding sales production expectations by implementing tactical sales strategies and acting as the subject matter expert for MLDI.Partner with and serve as a consultant to our Group Benefits Sales representatives to identify and implement new tools to increase Guardian’s reach in the market.Work and collaborate with Guardian's top Group GAs for MLDI opportunities.Work with the MLDI Underwriting Team to develop competitive offers and renewal/re-enrollment opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to examine market trends, create finalist presentations, and generate competitive offers.Represent Guardian by acting as a market leader, sharing thought leadership and maintaining strong community relationships.Identify, recommend and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives to increase sales of product offerings.Achieve required industry licensing within 90 days of date of hire and maintain license through completing Continuing Education requirements.

You Have:

A BS, BA degree or equivalent industry experience.Minimum of 6 years group insurance sales experience or a combination of Guardian work experience, education and/or related extracurricular activities.Experience and knowledge of key players with Group brokers and relevant industry processes including, but not limited to, online enrollment, experience rating, client management, and underwriting.

Location and Travel:

Preferred locations include Boston, MA; New York, NY; and Newport Beach, CA.Up to 60% travel within the assigned territory.

Salary Range$91,260.00 - $149,925.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
