Multi-Family Project Engineer - Construction

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The position is responsible for managerial support across multiple projects for The Annex Group. Tracks

the project and feeds information to Project Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

Process and submit all requests for information utilizing construction softwareEnsure Daily reports / logs are being uploaded on a regular basisAssist in the management of Submittals and shop drawingsSolicitation, compilation, and organization of O&M documents in conjunction with contract administratorTransmittals between owner, architect, engineer, consultant, and contractorMeeting agendas / minutesQuantity takeoffsScope of work standardization across (CSI) trade designationsAssist and support Superintendent with QA/QCPunch list generation, distribution, and trackingChange order tracking, process and archivalData input, compilation, and projections for cost trackingRequest for proposal generation, transmission, receipt, and review for purchase ordersMaterial and equipment trackingField production analysis, extrapolation, and trackingSubcontractor and work force coordination, including background checking of new subcontractorsManage Subcontractor/Supplier solicitationParticipate in onsite activities as needed including site supervision and physical labor if the situation arisesEnsure photo documentation and archival in construction software with field staffDocument review; drawings; receive, update, post, and archiveInput and track all bids throughout bidding processExtensive work using project management softwareExperience working with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project etc.)Assist Project Manager in all tasks as requiredTrack and manage third party safety company. Ensure each job is set up and inspected correctly

Bachelor’s degree (preferred) from an accredited institution in construction management/technology, engineering, architecture, or business 0-2 years of experience.Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.OSHA, LEED, and other professional accreditations preferred but not required.Able to work with minimal supervisionMust be a proficient communicator and listenerOrganization skills are criticalConflict and relationship management skillsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously with frequent interruptionsTeam orientedMath proficiencyTechnical awareness/proficiency; design, mechanics, and applicationProfessional appearance and demeanor
