Role Overview
BDUK is a subsidiary of the Boeing Company and currently employs over 1,400 people in the UK. BDUK is responsible for delivering several exciting contracts to our UK Defence customers including E-7 AEW&C, P-8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft, C4ISTAR Services, Through Life Support for the Chinook and Apache Fleets, Logistic Information Services and Training Services.
In order to provide continued support to the customer, we are looking for an VL MRO Training Coordinator to join the BDUK Maintenance, Repair Operations team and coordinate both internal and external training requirements for our Vertical Lift Maintenance personnel.
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Delivery Manager, this role will be based at Middle Wallop but will include supporting the training requirements of BDUK personnel at AAC Middle Wallop and RAF Odiham.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the role is to manage and maintain the wide range of authorisations and training qualifications held by VL maintenance personnel on behalf of the MRO.

Proactively manage the maintenance authorisations for Operations PersonnelIdentify, arrange and coordinate external training providers when required.Deliver with the assistance of the T&A Team, the required courses when required by the operations team.Provide shop floor level on-the-job training for maintenance activities as required.Monitor development plans of apprentices and provide guidance.Collaborate with Training, Quality and Apprentice Teams to achieve the desired outcome.Collaborate seamlessly with other MRO platforms to ensure the ongoing success of BDUK MRO.Manage ad-hoc MRO projects as directed by Senior Leadership.Travel may be required based on business needs.Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in delivering aircraft maintenance training.Excellent communication skills that provide the ability to engage effectively with personnel at all levels.Demonstrable ability to effectively and proactively manage their own workload.Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.Candidates with an appropriate mix of formal qualifications and experience appropriate to the role will be considered.Becoming a Boeing Employee
