About the Role: As an MRO/Parts Planner, your main responsibility will be to ensure the availability of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) parts and supplies to support the smooth operation of our organization. You will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory levels, reducing downtime, and minimizing costs. By effectively planning and coordinating the procurement and distribution of MRO parts, you will contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations. Your attention to detail and ability to analyze data will be essential in forecasting demand, monitoring stock levels, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. + Proven experience as an MRO/Parts Planner or in a similar role. + Strong knowledge of MRO parts and supplies, including their specifications, usage, and lead times. + Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Preferred Qualifications: + Certification in supply chain management or inventory management. + Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment. + Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. + Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders. + Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Responsibilities: + Plan and schedule the procurement of MRO parts and supplies based on demand forecasts and inventory levels. + Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as maintenance teams and production planners, to understand their requirements and ensure timely availability of parts. + Monitor and analyze inventory levels, usage patterns, and lead times to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts and excess inventory. + Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of parts and resolve any issues or delays in the procurement process. + Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and adjustments, using inventory management systems. Skills: In this role, your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be crucial in analyzing data, forecasting demand, and optimizing inventory levels. Your attention to detail will ensure accurate record-keeping and inventory management. Effective communication and collaboration skills will be essential in coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools will enable you to efficiently track and manage MRO parts. Additionally, your knowledge of MRO parts and supplies, as well as your ability to interpret data and make informed decisions, will contribute to the overall success of our operations.
