Job Summary
This position ensures that inventory levels are maintained, orders are processed, and supplies are distributed as needed across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for discrepancies or damages, and report findings to the appropriate personnel.Maintain accurate inventory records, including quantities, locations, and descriptions, using inventory management software.Issue supplies, materials, and equipment to departmental staff, recording issuance details to ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels.Perform physical inventory cycle counts as needed.NOTE: this description is not intended to be all inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal QualificationsMinimum Qualifications (Required):
Must be 18 years of age or older.Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.High School Diploma or GED.Read, write, and orally communicate in English.One year inventory experience.Two years’ experience with Microsoft Excel.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.Physical ability to crouch, bend, and lift objects throughout your shift.Preferred Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor’s degreeExcellent skills with word, excel, and power point in Microsoft suite.Experience with ERP systems and transaction management.Previous maintenance experience in meat / food processing facility.Forklift certification.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
