Responsible for medium-sized sales territories.

Job Description

Technical staff originating sales by positioning GE technology and identifying the best technical and commercial solution. Promote the business value proposition of GE technology. Works in close cooperation with regional sales, account sales and commercial proposal staff. Primary technical role involved in DTI (demand to inquiry): aim at increasing market penetration through technical support during pre-ITO.

Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.

Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

These sales jobs will mainly be individual contributors.
A job at this level requires strong interpersonal skills. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in any combination of medical sales, healthcare marketing, clinical/technical MR expertise, clinical technology leadership in MR or hospital administration in imaging OR Bachelor’s degree and a graduate of the GEHC commercial leadership program OR 8+ years of experience in any combination of medical sales, marketing, clinical applications, clinical technology leadership or hospital administration in imaging

Demonstrated experience presenting complex information both verbally and written to decision makers.

Must live in the Florida territory and be willing to travel within the defined geography.

Desired Qualifications:

Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

Demonstrated history of leading within cross functional sales team to achieve client needs and sales quotas.

Ability/Willingness to travel 80+% (2-3 days per week) within territory via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, train etc.) as necessary. You will receive a company car.
