MP&L Technology Engineering Specialist

In this position... 

The MP&L Technology Engineering Specialist leads technology implementation and maintenance for MP&L systems, such as warehouse managment, outbound logistics and yard managment.  Manage and enhance inventory and material flow, by being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the entire technology implementation process, including process design, training, troubleshooting, project management and communication.

 

You'll have... 

High School Diploma or GED 3+ years of experience with warehouse management or similar Supply Chain & Logistics areas Ability to work all shifts, rotatiing shifts or weekends, should the need arise

Even better, you may have...

SAP EWM Implementation Experience and/or Certification. Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience. Lean Tools – 5S, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, Value Stream Mapping experience. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT or related field. Experience with supply chain management processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/MRP systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What you'll do...

Be the technology SME ensuring that new systems are installed correctly. Implement and maintain SAP Electronic Warehouse Mgmt. (EWM), Outbound Logistics (OBL), and Yard Mgmt. MP&L systems Provide training sessions for company employees and team members, on the new technology associated with the MP&L systems Help coordinate shipping and receiving activities  Troubleshooting any material flow issues that arise inbound, throughout production and outbound Translate technical requirements into actionable plans. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Create processes and instruction methods supporting technologies. Interface with Plant hourly, salaried and management personnel, to listen, help diagonose issues and provide input towards resolutions
