We are a local family-owned and operated company based in Friendswood, seeking team members who love to help others. We deliver professional, courteous, and seamless services to help families in times of transition. We support families through relocation, whether cross-country or local. We specialize in online auctions, downsizing, relocation services, and online auctions to assist with this process!
In this flexible, part-time, and as needed position, you will primarily be boxing items, securing furniture, moving, packing, unpacking, resettling, adhering to floor plans, and other similar activities. Typical hours are 9am-4pm, mostly weekdays, but some weekends. Mostly working at client residences.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who likes to make extra cash while helping others but doesn’t require a consistent work/schedule. No specific experience is necessary. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have an eye for detail.
Benefits$15.00/hr Make a difference in the lives of local familiesFlexible scheduling Position is only as needed, so some weeks there may be zero hours, other weeks 20+Work with a small businessThe ideal candidate will be:A team playerPassionate about serving othersHonest and reliableIn good physical condition as there could be repetitive lifting, bending, and standingComfortable working in a dusty, dirty, or hoarded environment at timesAble to lift at least 60 lbs.Job description (including, but not limited to):Pack/unpack and stage/resettle client household itemsCarefully moving clients items and furniture (some of which can be heavy)Job Requirements (including, but not limited to):Willingness to work in cluttered and/or dirty environments. We provide work gloves, aprons, etc.Compassion and respect for clients and their familiesMust be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license and reliable source of transportationMust be able to stand, reach, and move/bend for long periods of timeHave a smart phone for scheduling, timekeeping & project management appsWilling to undergo a background checkPunctual and attentive to detail
