Your role and responsibilitiesThe Motor Spare Parts / Warranty Specialist will be part of the Customer Service team and reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, this position is located at our Montreal Campus. Main responsibilities for this position will be to provide timely customer support with warranty inquiries & motor spare part quotations and Order Entry. The role requires critical thinking and decision-making skills to handle multiple interactions in a fast-paced environment while providing our customers with a superior experience.•\tCoordinate Warranty Claims: Manage warranty claims from OEM customers and channel partners, including determining warranty status and recommending solutions.•\tPrepare Proposals: Create technical and commercial proposals for Large AC motor spare parts based on customer specifications.•\tCustomer Issue Resolution: Collaborate with the product management team to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.•\tProcurement and Order Management: Procure parts from ABB factories using SalesForce or Business Online and enter customer orders using SAP ERP.•\tField Service Coordination: Arrange for field service technicians to repair equipment and monitor associated costs.•\tCustomer Communication: Proactively inform customers about claim status and build sustainable relationships through open communication.•\tTracking and Analysis: Maintain a tracking system for all warranty claims, set KPIs, and perform lost proposal analysis to improve future results.•\tComprehensive Customer Service: Provide reliable, courteous, and professional service, including quotation processes, order handling, logistics, and invoicing.
Qualifications for the roleMechanical College Degree with relevant 3-5 years of experience with motors and/or drives (Preferred)). Bilingualism, written and spoken (French and English). French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong sense of urgency and ownership Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Must be teamwork oriented, be ready to take initiatives, able to problem solve, information seeking and eager to learn. SAP knowledge and Logistics are considered an asset. Based in Montreal, Quebec.
