This position performs the administrative functions for the Monument Processing Center in support of our Funeral Directors, Family Service Counselors and Monument Sales Specialists. The overall objective is to ensure the highest quality services are provided to our clients at all times. Specifically, this position insures that monument and inscription orders are completed by coordinating activities with the cemeteries, vendors, customers and associates in a most efficient, timely and accurate manner.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the region to transition paper files and records to electronic recordkeeping systemsAdheres to compliance with Company standard operating policies and procedures for all functionsManually review files and documents for accuracy and complianceInterprets and evaluates documentation to verify information on all services are completed with accuracy and consistencyDemonstrates quick response to document inquiries and provides customers with clear instructions to address documentation as neededMaintains professional and cooperative relationships with clients and associatesFollow up on customer payments and insure compliance to M&I payment policyVerifies payments of all accounts payable invoicesControls receipt and deposit of cash paymentsReconciles all accountsProcesses same day check requestsMakes bank depositsCollaborates and coordinates with all other departments within the business unitGenerates monthly reports for key performance indicatorsUpdates general price lists and approves monument contracts as necessaryMonitors document retention policies and disposes of expired documents in a secure mannerPay:

Education
High School diploma or equivalentBachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline strongly preferredExperience
Four (4) years of administrative work experience in a fast-paced professional office setting with a strong customer-focused capacityKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong computer skills, solid working knowledge of computer applications, MS Office, e-mail, internet and basic office equipment requiredGood written and oral communication skillsClear and legible handwritingHigh level of personal compassion, integrity and confidentialityProblem solving skillsAbility to multi-task, set priorities and meet tight timeline and customer demandsDemonstrated attention to detail dealing in an industry that is very paper intensiveDriven to follow up on processes through to completionAbility to work with a sense of urgency to complete orders in an efficient mannerAbility to work with minimal supervisionWork CONDITIONS
