Jhpiego is hiring for the position of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator, who is responsible for working on USAID funded project focusing on improvement of Mental Health in Cambodia. The M&E Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive M&E system. He/she coordinates M&E activities to ensure regular data collection and effective analysis throughout project targeted areas. The M&E Coordinator tracks project effectiveness, provides continuous assessment of progress toward project targets and benchmarks, and ensures the quality of M&E data. He/she ensures an evidence-based approach for project implementation and reporting. This position reports directly to the Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor.

Responsibilities Provide support for project monitoring and evaluation, including preparing work plans, reports, mapping, and other required tools.Oversee and guide implementation, review, and adaptation of the M&E Plan.Lead the analysis to inform the project’s progress and areas for improvement.Maintain up-to-date data records on project tracking and ensure quality data for key indicators, programming and reporting.Support the Senior M&E Advisor in collecting relevant data and information, developing project documentation, and writing project reports, including progress updates, review, and assessment reports.Design, coordinate, and provide technical guidance, training, and capacity building in M&E to project staff and partners.Support in reviewing grantees’ technical deliverables and provide other necessary M&E support.Identify and quickly resolve M&E challenges by proposing or making decisions for corrective actions.In collaboration with project staff or with consultants/firms, lead any assessments for specific project interventions.Ensure timely data collection, analysis, and reporting to the donor(s).Conduct data quality and service quality assessments on a regular basis.Conduct on-site monitoring visits to project supported sites and submit monitoring reports.Support in designing and implementing special studies and research to enhance project learning.Support in preparing abstracts and/or presentations for conferences and meetings with stakeholders.Leverage technology to enhance Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) activities and presentation of results. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in epidemiology, statistics, project management, and monitoring & evaluation, or a related field.
• At least six years of significant experience in monitoring and evaluating with international organizations.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality documents and coordinate activities with minimal supervision.
• Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive M&E systems.
• Strong skills in management, analyzing, and processing of data to support project planning and M&E.
• Proven expertise in evidence-based adaptive management, learning and communications.
• Superior analytical skills with ability to present critical project data and translate data into actions.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data management, analysis, and reporting.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in writing and editing reports and documents.
• Proven computer skills in Word, Excell, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity with other data analysis and presentation tools is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Willing to travel to the target areas as needed (approximately 25% of total working time).
• Desired to learn new skills.
• Respectful and caring for others.
• Enthusiasm, out of the box thinking, and a desire to make a positive impact as a team leader and team player.
• Highly self-motivated, takes initiative and results oriented
• Flexible in a variety of tasks contributing to work even outside of job description as required.
