Here, you will make an impact by: + Operates curing ovens as well as manual and automatic hydraulic heating and cooling molding equipment. + Monitors molding temperature and pressure. + Verifies platen/mold temperature per specifications. + Selects, assembles, molds, disassembles, operates and cleans mold parts + Reads and deciphers the Phenolic Core molding Characteristics chart Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: + Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start) + Interested and available to work first shift (6AM –4:30PM, Monday - Thursday), overtime, and/or short notice shift coverage as needed Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: + Ability to use basic measuring devices (micrometer, calipers, protractors, and etc.) to ensure product meets specifications. + Ability to understand basic CAD drawings/prints. + Experience operating lathe and drill presses + Experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs). + Basic computer skills + Basic math skills with ability to perform basic math calculations + Ability to read and use Micrometer / Calipers **Qualified applicants will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.
