Responsibilities Verify and update mold drawings both internally and through outside vendorsCommunicate changes and tool evaluations to engineers and location managersRepair and troubleshoot molds at the molding machineLead project team on mold refurbishments and modificationsManufacture mold components per supplied printsProvide training to mold repair techniciansInvestigate new technologyPerform preventative maintenance work on moldsRepair injection molds and hot runner issuesSafely operate hoists, mold cart, and lift equipment Qualifications 2 yr degree in Machine Trades Technology (Tool & Die) or Precision Machining TechnologyMachine shop mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry)Ability to run conventional machine shop machines (including CNC equipment)Demonstrated problem solving and strong communication skillsExperience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
